Based on my textile degree project, I wanted to use poetry and imagery to verbally convey my experiences with color while embracing the playful elements of transparency, erasure, and layering. For context, my degree project delves into a deep investigation of color interaction, inspired by the ever-shifting times of day.
Each poem within the fabric book is a reflection and a reminder of the emotions and impressions evoked by specific colors. My poetry gravitates tend to describe or imagine our natural environment. Through this tactile process, I really enjoyed this tranquil form in the act of making.
