Jacquard Fabrics
Jacquard samples that look into the relationship between textiles and technology. When thinking about the binary system, a series of zeros and ones on the computer, it is inherently similar to woven and knit structure. I was interested in this binary system when it is overlapped with other systems such as color, structure, pattern and how they can interact with materials can create a fabric that feels alive, and embedded.
